MMDA Delegates Tour JVL Fortifer Compost Plant

About 35 delegates from seventeen (17) Metropolitan, Municipal and District Assemblies (MMDAs) visited the JVL Fortifer Compost Plant at Borteyman on Thursday, the 26th of July, 2018.

Sanitation Challenge for Ghana Workshop

The learning tour was part of an ongoing Sanitation Challenge for Ghana (SC4Gh) Learning and Practice Convening (LPC) workshop organized by the Ministry of Sanitation and Water Resources (MSWR) and the IMC Worldwide.

The SC4Gh learning workshop seeks to identify and cultivate innovations for the advancement of practices and implementation of liquid waste management (LWM) value chain results captured in the strategies of the 17 MMDAs. Hence, the need to visit some liquid waste treatment facilities in Accra and Tema.

Notable Attendees

Amongst the visiting delegation were Mr. Asubonteng of IRC Ghana, Hajia Amina Seidu of Savelugu Municipal Assembly and Mr. Mohammed Habib of Association of MMDCD. The team was well received by The Managing Director of Jekora Ventures Limited, Ing. Immanuel Nartey-Tokoli, who took the opportunity to expand on all the activities of the company.
